Ageia Technologies Selects PicoCraft for Clock Domain Analysis

December 31st, 2005

[December 2005] After a thorough evaluation, Ageia Technologies has selected PicoCraft’s GPP Clock Domain Analysis tool to assist in the design and verification of their next generation of physics processing chips.

GPP is a Clock Domain Profiler and Analysis tool that leverages industry standard Static Timing environment and library setups to rapidly identify likely Synchronization Errors in the final tape-out netlist for high clock-count multi-million gate SOC designs. GPP complements the capabilities of current static timing tools, enabling design teams to quickly determine if clock definitions and case setups are well formed and zeroing in on asynchronous clock domain crossing problems and related challenges in the scan chain integrity checks.
